PRE-CONSTRUCTION PLANNING
Bluestone Partners uses a 5-step process for pre-construction planning:
1. Design Consultation: It's our job to optimize your space, and we do that by starting with an in-depth design consultation. We'll work with you to review all your needs and goals, then make recommendations on how we can best optimize the space while remaining within your budget. Photorealistic 3D renderings and Matterport Surveys play a key role in the initial design process.
2. Preliminary Pricing & Value Engineering: We provide preliminary pricing that provides you with the most cost-effective solutions while meeting your design goals. Our approach to value engineering consistently looks for ways to improve the value of your project by examining the cost and function element. We always check for less expensive alternatives, without sacrificing functionality.
3. Construction Documents: Detailed construction documents are the foundation of any construction project. These documents come in many shapes and forms and may include architectural drawings, engineering drawings, 3D renderings, design specifications, construction specifications, and other detailed designs for items like signage, millwork, and casework.
4. Final Pricing and Contracts: Once the designs have been completed, we'll review the details of your project to ensure a clear understanding of the scope, timeline, and final budget. Our team works to develop contracts that are fair, cost-effective, and in line with industry standards.
5. Scheduling and Permitting: We'll take care of scheduling, permitting, and related paperwork to ensure that your project is started and completed on time and within code.
